I didn't sleep at all on Thursday night & I got up at 5:00am on Friday to run, so I was pretty exhausted by Friday night. We grabbed Chinese take-out & then I watched Love & Other Drugs. Bad, bad movie. Don't recommend it.
I started the day at Trim with Gio, colorist extraordinaire, getting my blonde on. I think at this point, most of my friends go to Gio, but if you don't, you should. He doesn't cut, he does color & make-up; and he's REALLY good at it. More info on his website, blog, or find him on Facebook and Twitter. If you color/highlight your hair, you need to try Gio. I've never had him do my make-up, but Mary Katherine has & he's AH-MAZING. Treat yo self.
For dinner we met our friends Mike & Chrissi at The Wild Hare. Still loving The Wild Hare. The service is still sketchy, but the food is still soooo good. I veered from the menu & ordered the pan-seared salmon served over garlic cheese grits. So good! I love you, Wild Hare.
I got up & ran about 4 miles in Richland Creek Greenway with my friend Jaime, followed by Star Bagel, of course. I didn't do much the rest of the day. John had a studio emergency & had to work all day, so I basically just lounged around, catching up on Dexter & reading more of the Sookie Stackhouse series (I'm on book two).
